Altec 804B multicell horns

These proved to be just too large for my room so out the door they must go. They are in pretty good condition but do have a little surface rust in areas as can be seen in the photos. I would be happy to provide more detailed pics upon request.

Before I say whether your offer sounds OK or not, I have a few questions:

1. Do these horns come with throats?

2. Dual drivers or single?

3. You've said (in another post on this board) they had a bit of surface rust and you wanted to clean them up ('Powerwash' them). Have you done that, yet? Or painted them?

Hey soundwave!

Sorry about the delay in responding to your inquiry, but I have not visited this thread for some time figuring that I would get an email if there were interested parties.

The 804B's do not not have throats unfortunately. I have been looking for a pair for some time and seem to keep missing them when they come up for sale.

There is a little surface rust on them (as can be seen in the pics) but in overall nice condition. They have been stored in my basement where I keep most of my unused equipment. I have not power washed or painted them and figured that I would address that (in some fashion or another) after I acquired the throats.

I really wanted to get these up and running in a system if just to play with them. My room is really too small to set up in reasonable fashion so they would be just for fun. Hence, the FS listing if I could find someone that could make better use of them than myself.
